What delivery options do you offer?

We usually send out orders same day if placed before 12pm GMT.

- Express Tracked Delivery with Royal Mail 24 (Next Day | £3.99 or Free when you spend £65 or more)

- Standard Delivery with Royal Mail International untracked (3-7 days | Free)
- Tracked & Signed with Royal Mail International (2-6 days | £5)
- Express DHL / UPS (1-2 days | £15)

North America
- Postal Courier - Direct with DHL (5-10 days | Free)
- Express DHL / UPS (2-3 days | £15)

Australia
- Postal Courier - Direct with DHL (7-14 days | £4)
- Express DHL / UPS (2-3 days | £15)

New Zealand
- Postal Courier - Economy with DHL (7-18 days | £5)
- Express DHL / UPS (2-3 days | £15)

Hong Kong
- Local Delivery (2-3 days | £4)

ROW
Postal Courier with DHL / Royal Mail Standard (7-18 days | £4)

International orders may be subject to local duties / taxes charges - not usually applicable but this is completely out of our control.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped you should receive an email (or SMS) from us confirming everything including tracking information, if applicable. 

If you did not get this email, just let us know and we can look into it for you :)

Please note that if you selected standard shipping at checkout, this may not include tracking, or may only provide a limited tracking (only updated once a delivery attempt has been made). If you have not received your order and are unable to track it, please let us know and we will help with any information on our side. 

In busier periods postal services can take a little longer than the listed ETA, especially for international orders, so please do bear with us. We will always ensure you get your goodies.

Where are you sending my order from?

Our main warehouse is in North Yorkshire in the UK, and all European orders are despatched from here. We also have some stock in Hong Kong, so orders to Asia, Australasia & North America may be sent from here for faster shipping.

Do you offer personalisation on the products? I’d like to add a message for a friend.

Unfortunately, we cannot personalise individual products at this time - it is something we hope to be able to offer in the near future. In the meantime, we do have a couple of stockists who can offer embossing or printing services on our items, so get in touch so we can connect you.

Can I add a gift message to the parcel?

Yes! At checkout there is the option to write a gift message which we will print on our despatch note. This is free and optional. 

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Absolutely! Add this Gift Wrap to your order or at checkout you can tick the option to ‘Gift Wrap my order for £5 per item’. We will wrap your item in kraft paper with twine and a hand-written gift tag - just leave your message in the box at checkout. If you have a couple of small items we will wrap them together for £5, otherwise please increase your gift wrap quantity per larger item. 

Do you sell the items pre-stitched?

I’m afraid we do not offer stitching services. We believe the fun is in the making! And we have plenty of videos and tutorials to help you get started- since all the kits are designed with beginners in mind. 

If you are a stockist or press needing pre-stitched samples for display or photography, we may be able to help, so get in touch for info.

Do you offer returns?

Sure thing. If you’re not happy with your order, or you change your mind, just let us know and we can provide details for return. Once we receive the item(s) back in sellable condition we will process your refund. We're only able to reimburse the shipping costs if the items were damaged, faulty or incorrect.

Do you have a physical store?

We don’t have a store (just yet!) but do sell to a number of great retailers worldwide. Do get in touch if you’d like us to help you find a local brick & mortar stockist. 

We hope to have more pop-up stores in the near future - watch this space. 

Do you do workshops or events?

Not at the moment, but we hope to be able to hold stitching sessions and Chasing Threads get-togethers at some point when Covid issues allow… 

I have a store and am interested in becoming a stockist, can I buy wholesale?

Absolutely! We are always happy to provide wholesale info. We have a little more info here, or feel free to get in touch with us for stockist details. 

Can we add a logo or bespoke design for corporate gifting / bulk orders?

Yes, we can offer bespoke versions of our product and or packaging (minimum order quantities will apply), or discounts for bulk orders of standard items. We’re happy to work with you on your corporate gifting or promotional requirements - do get in touch for more details. 

Who are Maid In China Limited..?

That's us! When we first started out we were called Maid In China as we were designing ceramics and it was a play on words (did we mention we like puns?) so that is the name we are still registered as. We are now trading  as Chasing Threads, but Maid In China Ltd may turn up on your invoice or credit card transactions, do not be alarmed.
