I assure you this is not a ‘shady’ company. I am a designer trying to make and sell nice things and I’m really sorry that my tea towel did not live up to your expectations, genuinely I am gutted about your comments. I did not delete your review. It is not visible because it was ‘pending’, as I hoped to be able to resolve these issues for you, and I replied to you as soon as I got your first review. I offered to send a replacement needle. I gave you my sincere apologies and I never heard anything back. I know that the replacement needle would work because I have stitched over 20 of these tea towels myself.
We’re looking into the washing care & absorbency of the tea towels with a matter of urgency.
I will happily refund you, but I would need an order number to be able to do that.

Really so saddened & shocked to get this review, and so sorry for your experience here.
I wish you’d messaged as soon as you discovered the broken needle, I’d really like to send you the correct one that will work perfectly for this product. There’s no way you should have such trouble sewing it - I’ve tested and stitched tonnes of these tea towels myself without issue, so I really think the needle is the problem here. Can I send you the correct one?
As to the material, I am so surprised to hear you call it ‘so poor quality’ as I chose a higher weight cotton fabric with a polyester backing to give integrity to the stitches so it was a sturdy canvas that can be sewn without a hoop. We’ve only had great feedback about the quality. The absorbency was tested but perhaps we need to address this for future batches. We advise this to be more of an item for polishing glasses and hanging on display if you do stitch it, but totally understand you may wish to wipe up with it too.
