If Chasing Threads did wedding stationery... ✖️

I loved making the invites and programmes for our wedding, and of course had to get some threads in there!

Our 'Save the Dates' were marked by a red stitch on the date and designed so that the knot on the back lined up neatly to complete the sentence...

The Save the Date also features sketches of us by the talented @rosieupright_designandmake (but more on that later...)

(Unfortunately due to Covid we had to postpone 3 times so these got a bit complicated by the 4th version...🤦🏻‍♀️)

For the RSVP we sent pre-threaded needle & thread and asked guests to mark their attendance with a stitch ✖️

Finally the programme was tied together with red & white bakers twine, simple with gold foil headings, naturally.

The whole set was incredibly fun to design (and sneakily on-brand!) but it was great to make something just for us, for friends, and for the sake of it! It has got me wondering about potential wedding lines though...
