Calling all gardeners! What to plant and grow in April ๐Ÿฅ•

๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŒพ Calling all gardeners!ย  ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŒพ

There is nothing quite like the taste of easting something fresh from the garden that you have grown yourself.

According to the oracles at BBC Gardener's World, this is what we should be planting in April (that is if you can find a gap in between the rain and wind to get in the garden!)

It's the perfect time to sow lots of family favourites: carrots, leeks, onions, peas and potatoes can all be sown directly outside.

For plants that a little more delicate - think lettuce, courgettes and sweetcorn, you can start them off on sunny windowsills or in greenhouses before planting them out in May.
