As Summer hit postponed weddings and parties have finally started going ahead! I've been blown away by one of our followers Samantha (@samanthawillisxo) who goes BIG when it comes to hen parties (or as they say in the USA, bachelorettes!). Check out this ultimate S-POOL PARTY 🧵she planned!
I chatted to her about how she has the time to create such amazing parties (floats & all!) and what plans she has for her own destination wedding this summer...
Tell us about yourself!
I'm Samantha (Marketer turned Influencer) and my fiancé Cameron, is the jack-of-all trades (Physical Therapy by day and Carpenter by night). Basically, we can't sit still -- a blessing and a curse.
How did you keep busy / sane during lockdown?
While my full time job is working for a home builder, I dedicated most of my quarantine time to all things home inspired and wedding planning!
Yes we heard you are getting married in Santorini later this year! (A-mazing!) What made you choose the Greek islands for your wedding?
Cameron and have only been out of the US once before but have talked about many places we would both like to visit. As we got deeper into planning our traditional wedding we became very overwhelmed and would make little jokes like "what is we just eloped" or "what if we just got married overlooking the Mediterranean sea" until it no longer became a joke...
We had talked about places we wanted to travel to in the previous years but never really thought it would be possible. High on our list were Venice, Italy and Santorini, Greece, so when we decided to elope it was a no brainer on exactly where we wanted to go. We looked into other locations for several days but Santorini had stole our hearts. There was no more romantic and charming place in our eyes.
We’ve seen you creating some gorgeous bachelor / bachelorette parties this Summer - have you always loved party planning?
While I am planning my own wedding, all of my friends are pretty much getting married as well HAHA. Since we got engaged, to the time that we will be married, we will have been a large part of 5 weddings and 5 bachelor/bachelorette parties 😅
I love hosting and spoiling my friends so I have been spending tons of time arranging bachelorette party's lately for sure!
Are you planning a Honeymoon & what are the next places on your list?
We will be eloping in Santorini Greece. Santorini is know for its beautiful Mediterranean sunsets that over look the cascade of whitewashed buildings, dotted with windmills and blue dome churches. We will have an intimate cliff wedding on September 5th and enjoy a sunset Catamaran following. Our remaining two weeks in Greece will be spent as our honeymoon, sightseeing Athens, Santorini and visiting the neighboring island Mykonos. On our way home we will stop for a quick day to visit Venice Italy and catch a Gondola through the canals.

I've already added crosses to Venice, and have stitched a heart around Santorini where we will marry💘
We also have our Luggage Tags stitched with Mr & Mrs which I cant wait to use once we are officially Newlyweds!!
